The Unleash! Summer School Series was held successfully from June to September. Experienced design thinking professionals guided participants through the key design thinking processes and explored how design thinking can address the exceptional challenges with empathy, creativity and collaboration. Design thinking is a proven and action-oriented problem solving approach that helps nurture 21st century skills and enable organisations to find new solutions to intractable problems. As the start of the series, a taster workshop was held on June 30 with three groups of knowledge partners for giving participants a grasp of design thinking:
  • Business – Guy Parsonage, PwC
  • Education – Kyle Wagner, Transform Educational Consulting
  • Public Sector and NGOs – Virginia Morris, Bamboo Difference; Ada Sin, MAKE Studios
